Misconceptions about CBD

CBD- what’s all the buzz about? Increased “buzz” over any new product, such as CBD, can lead to excitement as well as misconceptions. This is problematic because misconceptions or misinformation can detour those who may be interested in the product to shy away because they are confused and not sure what to believe about the product. Our goal with today’s blog post is to clear those misconceptions about CBD you may have! If you are interested in debunking common misconceptions keep reading.

Misconception #1: CBD Gets You High Like THC
THC holds benefits similar to CBD, but unlike CBD, the chemical compound THC contains a psychoactive component which interacts with the brain and body to create various effects including the sensation of feeling “high.” CBD on the other hand is not intoxicating and must contain <0.3% THC in order to be sold legally. This amount of THC is so small that it holds no possibility of getting an individual high. And, if you are still apprehensive about the <0.3% THC content, CBD isolate contains 0% THC may be a better option!

Misconception #2: CBD Has More Benefits When Taken in Higher Doses
Many individuals believe that CBD has more benefits when taken in higher doses. Makes sense, right? Unfortunately, this is not the case. There are two main types of CBD: CBD isolate and full spectrum CBD. Full spectrum CBD contains more cannabinoids and other natural compounds, while CBD isolate may be better for people who need a strong dose of just cannabidiol. An article published by Project CBD stated, “Reports from clinicians and patients suggest that a synergistic combination of CBD, THC, and other cannabis components can be effective at low doses – as little as 2.5 mg CBD and/or 2.5 mg THC.” However, everyone’s body composition and needs are different; while one individual may find therapeutic benefits in a low dose, the next may need a higher dose to achieve those same benefits.

Misconception #3: All CBD Is Created Equal- It Doesn’t Matter Where It Comes From
If you are interested in trying either full spectrum or CBD isolate, it is important to first do some research and be cautious about where you are purchasing the product. Reason being large amounts of hemp are required to extract a small amount of CBD, and because hemp is a “bioaccumulator,” it draws toxins from the soil. Therefore, it is best to purchase CBD from companies that obtain their hemp from family farms that practice sustainable techniques and lab tests each product from beginning to end.

At Green Therapy, we practice sustainable techniques and lab test each and every product to ensure potency and purity. Our product comes from a hemp plant grown without pesticides, herbicides, or inorganic fertilizers.

Delta Premium CBD is the purest CBD on the market. How do we know this. Our broad spectrum CBD is 92% pure. There is no higher quality or purity of CBD. Search it yourself. Why buy any other CBD than Delta Premium CBD.
